“Miscommunication and Managing Emotions”
Working in groups will be a requirement in many of your classes. It is important to engage in effective communication. As a first-year student, your friend-group is important. This video highlights a few golden points: Have a friend group that supports your academic success, and is willing to help you grow as a student, leader and communicator. Effective communication is vital for your success, and it is strategic to connect with your professors to ask for clarity and further understanding, increasing your likelihood of success. Study groups help you develop responsibility and accountability to your coursework and friend group.
